In addition to creating digital art inspired by nature, I am an enthusiastic nature journaler.
Though I have been nature journaling on and off since I was a child, I have become much more active with it in the past few years. Below are a few examples as well as some helpful resources for those who are interested in exploring this practice for themselves.
Basics of Nature Journaling
Nature Journaling Printable Zines
All of the resources below use the same format. You need to cut and fold it using the directions on this video. Some are one sided, others are designed for two-sided printing.
- My Little Pocket Nature Journal Resource – you need to cut and fold it using the directions on this video. Unlike the zine, it is one sided so that the inside can be used for recording color charts for commonly used utensils (pens, colored pencils, etc.)
- A Sketchnoter’s Visual Library For Nature Journaling – this is also a zine style printable
